DLC for the Xbox 360 that much more significant. People are going to want more, and there is no way with EA wanting Take Two, that Take Two will want the momentum of this game to stop in 08. Get sales from the initially release, and then ramp everyone up for the epsiodic content. Smart move on Microsoft for securing it. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are going to really do well next month with this game.
Playing NG on the orignal Xbox controller was incredible. Go check out the reviews and ask people who know. In fact the Xbox 360 with rumble out the gate is going to feel great. Most of the games I play on my 360 feel grand not just the FPS games. People need to speak on what they know. I can understand you being used to the PS3 controller, but that actually says alot about Team Ninja's design, and polish in game play that has you feeling the way you do. Simply put they deliver.
That would be smarter Melon, but they want to get burned by this in the long run. I say that because this actually hurts EA more than help them, because models like this will be incredible for independents, and offer more competition. Add to the fact that if you make the gaming industry reliant on Adverts, at some point you are going to be giving them more control over what content works. All that has to happen is for shovel ware to benefit and the doors for that type of control are blow wide...
realize just how great having a warranty is for your system even breaking down? Again Sony had to be sued just for them to acknowledge they had faulty PS2's. I'm not saying it's great to be in the middle of Gears of War and see three red rings. I am saying that Microsoft isn't smacking me in the head and turning away like nothing happened. So the value for me is two fold, I get great games bar none, and a backup for something that is common place with electronics.
I guess the argument shouldn't be about the plot points of these Jrpg's anymore, but their execution. In that regard, Tri-ace needs to deliver a stellar game, I'm glad they are taking their time. The game may not see a release until 2009, but that's perfect. I mean you know we will have another thread once that year begins about who/what system has exclusives. This title should be a strong contender, then add to the fact that Fable 2 is right around the corner. Rpgs on the 360 seem to be well...
this, just taking a look at music cd's and their industry. DD is very real to them, and they have no rescue or recourse. So what has been garnering the music industry money. Ringtones, Ringbacks, deals with phone companies, games like Guitar Hero, and Rock Band. Which those two alone have accounted for over 3 million in sales of music content. Which again is all catalog. Meaning they do not have to rerecord, remaster(in some cases anyway, but thats small change)anything, only pay an artist ro...
DD is happening as we speak. Apple's entire Ipod success is based on DD. No one purchases a physical copy of anything. They clear over a Billion dollars since it's inception. So I don't understand this logic that DD is so far away. It seems from a technical standpoint the argument seems to be the quality of what you are getting. Yet again to piggy back on others arguments. The average consumer isn't a videophilie or Audiophilie person, so as long as they are getting a better than average DD c...
Just glad the game is more fun than the reviews are giving it. I'm also glad that Xbox 360 fans are mature enough not to hate game websites and pulications for their own perceptions of the game. Instead they've proven it with thier dollars and game mind share. Everything I've heard about the title has been great. look forward to playing this game in late May/June. I'm holding out for GTA4. Had way to much work to do, so I couldn't jump in earlier.
I guess now IGN isn't biased against Sony anymore since they love MGS4. I mean lord forbid they give them a bad review of other titles after this one...Today we love, tomorrow we hate you.
Anyway...
This is great for PS3 owners, adds to the library, and Kojima just continues to be the great game designer he is. I wish though you could have vechicles to man in the game. Perhaps that may happen.
Keep these rpg's coming. Hopefully they have seen how well Lost Od is doing, and they will give us a proper rpg. I'm still not sold on Last Remnant, but I'm keeping an open mind. We need some companies to push the genre forward out East.
Just buying what you like? I think the people who have this view point are people who just hate the success of Halo. It's not like every person who owns an Xbox 360 has Halo 3. I for one enjoy the game, think it looks fantastic, and I do not worship all that is Halo. It's called perspective...Lots of hatergamers, need that.
do you say that with a Dora avatar? Besides another poster made a damn good point that I want to expand on. If you or anyone older than 12 is playing Mario or most any Nintendo game; let me also add the amount of people singing the praises of R&C for the PS3 needs to fallback with the damn hate. So taking a step back, and short of removing your hater lenses, why wouldn't people want to play Banjo? I'm more concerned about Rare actually delivering on what this game's potential could be. I...
Bulletproof sells over a million units, is a little below average, but couldn't the same be said about Killzone? That game was touted to be something bigger than it turned out. Yet fans are willing to give K2 a second chance, how is that fair? Is it because he's a rapper? Someone who came from the bottom, and wants to keep making good with his life. Would you rather him in the hood doing bad, living bad, and being bad. I mean nobody has to care. If anything I'm encouraged by the fact that 50 ...
Smart. How many price drops has the system had? The system is selling well early in the year. They have big titles on the horizon, so this is just a smart move. The system will approach 2 million in sales after the price drop in the UK. Honestly why do PS3 fans always want to downplay good news about the Xbox 360? I've been to many PS3 posts, and the fans get real uptight about the reverse. Stop picking sides, and get over it. Because if a price drop doesn't work for very long, then why is th...
The fact that GT Prologue/5 has been in development for eons, is not a fair comparison graphically. The others are really good games in their own right. At the same time Polyphony has done a damn good job. In some pics it's not easy to tell that it's that much better, but it sure does make you look forward to the official games release.
Soundtrack honestly is one of the small things that make the gaming experience that much more better...I play all kinds of music, cause most game music sucks...
Sony should just pay the toll. Cause at some point Microsoft needs Blu-Ray..so maybe something can be agreed upon.
Is just going to continue the Xbox 360 pedigree this generation so far for delivering AAA titles. The last Fable was over the top with expectations, it was a great experience. Yet fell short of what it laid out, but Fable 2 has had the benefit of time. With the Xbox 360 a great platform for developers, I expect this game to eclipse Fable by far.
I also have to agree the Xbox 360 is doing really with Rpgs which in the long run is great for the genre. I'm looking forward to Infini...
Funny that this thread is up right now. I just came home form work, but before that I stopped by the GameStop on 86st and Lexington here in NY. The place was packed, at the counter there were like I think five or six people asking about GTA4. So one of the people this young guy asked if there would be downloadable content coming for the PS3. So the sales person said yes, that obviously raised an eyebrow from me. Yet before I could react these two kids in there teens say no, "I hear it's ...
